DAY 31 - April 14th, 2020
The boys had a super light school load today so I decided today would be the day to finally finish making some cloth face masks. I did already get some to Tim, but I want to get a couple to Gabbie, and then make one for each of our family members for when we emerge back into the community. I'm not sure if I'll get enough elastic for all of that, but I'm gonna try!
I made two, and the first was mostly a fail. I think I have it figured out now. They come together pretty quickly with some time to cut and iron fabric and cut elastic in half (which is what finally worked), so hopefully I'll be able to work through a bunch soon.
I don't think I mentioned this before but Matt's wedding ring went missing for a week. He felt really badly about it and I was sad. It's a little thing, but it always makes me happy to see it on him. He found it today! It was in the dryer. When he opened it, it was just sitting on the lint trap waiting for him. Thank goodness! It seemed a little ridiculous that he would lose it in isolation of all times. He'd put a $5 bill on the fridge for whoever found it, and he happily took it down tonight.
