Free Floral Lunchbox Notes - Sweet Little Love Notes to Print & Share!

As we rush through our busy lives, it's easy to forget to take a moment to connect with the ones we love. Even if we live with them!

One of the simple gestures I've done over time is sneaking little notes into my kids' lunchboxes and around the house for my family to find. It's just a suuuper simple way to spread love and happiness throughout their day!

It's easy, quick, and totally free!

I find cute ones to print out all the time, but I was playing around one day and whipped up a bunch of floral-themed ones with matching floral sayings! They're so cute!! You can stick them in a lunch box, a coat pocket, a purse, use them as gift tags on a present, pass them out as valentines - the possibilities are endless!

There are six different designs that will print on an 8.5x11" piece of paper or cardstock (I recommend cardstock to give them some durability - you can even reuse them, then!).

Print them out, cut them out, and pass them around!

Find these sweet printable floral notes in our freebie library!

Cottagecore Weekly Menu Printables (Freebie!)

I've probably said it a few (or a few hundred) times that I hate meal planning. Worse than dishes, worse than laundry...the household task that gives me the most grief is meal planning.

There's a million reasons why, but I won't bore you with them.

Instead, I'll just tell you that writing out your menu on adorable menu sheets does help a little bit. (Like, just a tiny bit, but I'll take it.)

I recently made a super cute cottagecore meets farmhouse inspired set of menu planners with a cute washi tape vibe. I made one for most major holidays and seasons, put them together in an adorable set, and popped them up on Cozy & Rych.

I use them exclusively now (so cute), and while the set is super affordable (currently $4 for 8 seasonal designs, aka $.50 each! that you can print over and over again)...I wanted to gift one of them to you guys for free.

You know, because you're the real ones. ;)

I picked the most neutral of the bunch that will carry you through the entire year. You can use it every single week forever!

But just in case you want to get extra adorable with it, check out the listing for all eight designs:

Adorbs, aren't they?

If you want the whole set, visit them on Cozy & Rych right here!

But if you're down with just the one neutral or want to give them a test drive, download your free printable PDF right here!

Enjoy, babes. Happy meal planning! xo

Me First February!

I have something SO good for you today!

First, ugh, I had all these plans to share Valentine's Day gift ideas with you last week...I was working so hard on it. And then I got the 'vid (blah) and it had other plans. I scrapped all of it. I'm still hoping to pop one or two up here because of all the behind the scenes work that went into it, but we'll see.

Today I have something sweet and lovey and juicy to share with you!

The upside of having covid is that I was looking at February like, "Okay, you evil frigid little month, you will not be the flaming pile of trash you usually are." I wanted to spend the whole month on health and self-care and loving myself back to the happy baseline I was at before these germs.

I started mapping out what I would do for myself...and then realized....hey, this might be useful.

So yesterday I sat down to do some shop work when all of a sudden....an ebook came out.

Yes, a whole ebook. (lol.)

I mean, it's only 45 pages. It's not a novel. But it covers every day of February with a lovey way to take care of yourself and has a bunch of printable and fill-in spots for a full experience.

But here's the deal: I'm going to give you guys the list for free.

You can have the list of challenges, as well as your choice of Instagram-sized image to keep track.

The book itself is full of pointers, lists of ideas, links to resources, and so much other goodness so I recommend it if you *really* want to dive in. It's not meant to be on your reading list for the month (it's not really a sit down with a cup of tea and get lost kinda thing)... it's more of a printable planner. Review the day's page in the morning, print it out if you find it useful, and fit the idea into your day. (There are several blank printable pages you can use over and over again!)

If you want the full ebook, grab it HERE! (It's 35% off with that link *only* through Feb 5th!)

But if you just want the list of ideas and feel like navigating them on your own, feel free!! You can download our printable list RIGHT HERE - no email or anything needed!

Don't forget to grab your choice of Instagram tracker:

Let me know if you're joining me, and use hashtag #mefirstfebruary on Instagram if you share any of your journey!

Want my Thanksgiving Shopping List?

Since 2004, Thanksgiving has kind of been "my" holiday. Matt and I moved away from home that year, and we had family come visit us (my MIL even traveled on a plane with a pie in her lap) and our family basically taught little baby us how to host a Thanksgiving dinner. I picked up so many pointers and family recipes from both sides of our families, and ever since, I've loved waking up early to do some online shopping before getting my stuffing going with the Macy's parade on in the background.

I freaking love Thanksgiving.

We're obviously only a week away, and I personally start buying certain shelf-stable ingredients a bit at a time in October. I get a little bit more every week so that my week of Thanksgiving bill isn't outrageous. That said, this might be a bit late, but I'm sharing it anyway just in case someone can use it!

Thanksgiving Shopping List (free printable) | www.jennrych.com

It's a PDF that you can save and print, with a bit of room for your personal extras. I organized it in the timing I usually shop for these ingredients, but keep in mind that the 4-5 weeks before is the longest list and I spend several weeks buying all of that - I don't do it all at once.

Before I share, here's a few notes, and the menu this is based on:

turkey
stuffing
gravy
mashed potatoes
green bean casserole
squash
candied sweet potatoes
cranberry sauce (canned & homemade)

cream cheese celery

chocolate peanut butter pie
pumpkin pie

Everyone's menu is different, of course, so only grab this if it's close enough to yours to be useful! Also - I sometimes make rolls myself, sometimes buy them frozen, and sometimes skip them all together, so I didn't add anything to the list since I wing it every year. We also might have some other family members bring salad, corn, or broccoli, and there are usually other desserts as well. This is just based on the tried-and-true basics.

I also didn't mention anything about drinks on this list since everyone is different, so you may want to add in a chardonnay or prosecco, maybe a sparkling juice for the kiddos. Pumpkin ale? Seltzer? Whatever tickles your fancy.

Grab the list HERE!

I'm signing off for the holiday, so I hope you have a wonderful, beautiful, lovely Thanksgiving! xo

Summer Prep List (Freebie)

Life has been inching along, despite so many worrisome uncertainties.

Everything feels like a weird balance as a parent right now, doesn't it?

summer essentials list freebie

Trying to find the place between taking care of yourself and your family, making memories, living life to the best available degree, and staying aware and active in today's issues. We're living in some crazy times.

June in particular is always a very busy month for us. There are field days and celebrations at school, half days and exam schedules to stay on top of, camping plans on the horizon, family visiting - it's just always chaos. Something that I tend to overlook every year is the prep I could do to make our summer days a little bit easier.

You know - the things to have on hand for hungry kids or for unexpected visitors.

I was thinking about it recently - knowing that this summer will be extra-busy with one son on a swim team, and all three of them hitting ages where they want to have their friends over full time. So knowing that's coming for me soon (with less than three weeks left of the school year), I thought I should make a list of things to collect in time for the summer craziness.

And maybe it would be helpful to you, too?

I realize we are one of the last districts in the country to end the school year, so you may already be into your summer vacations. But, I think this is helpful regardless. My list accounts for everything from last minute dinner guests, to thirsty or overheated kids, to spontaneous evening campfires, to endlessly snacking teenagers.

So, just in case it helps anyone get prepared for the summer crazies, grab your list of summer household essentials here:

Happy Summer :)
